Our first district heating
URBEROA heating network:
The Urberoa Cooperative is a housing community, located in San Sebastián, made up of more than 600 homes that make up one of the most important District Heating (or Heating Network) in Spain.
Since 2014, we have been acquiring data from energy meters and cost distributors, with a total of 3,000 meters, through a mixed Radio/Cable system, with control units, concentrators and repeaters supplied by Usanca Metering.
It also has an alarm system to detect the correct functioning of information distribution in the Network.
It is the most complex project we have faced due to the number of devices, distances traveled, number of boiler rooms and orography of the installation.
We solved difficulties such as receiving more than 1,000 devices or covering blocks of more than 800 meters in length with a single radio network.
We collect data in 7 different substations and serve it to the property on a bi-weekly basis.
This work has been carried out side by side with the maintenance company and the property.
