Sofia Platform for Movistar

Large companies have large needs. And manufacturers do not always reach the level of personalization required in certain situations.

The challenge we faced was multiple: To control the alarms of various equipment and remotely manage said alarms, wherever they were, both at the equipment level and the personnel in charge of their maintenance.

At the Hardware level, the versatility of our C300 Concentrator with 3G connection, connected to a BMS, gave us the solution.

In terms of Software, we developed an Ad-hoc Platform with alarm, user, and device management, connected to an application (on Android and iOS), in which the alarm can be simultaneously edited, commented on, turned on/off, or assigned to an operator.

Subsequently, we have integrated new generator sets into the platform, which, added to the mobile units and chillers already connected in past exercises, increasing the versatility of the platform and turning it into a very powerful management tool.

The result of integrating Sofía into Movistar’s control system has been a complete success in terms of personnel management, as well as a drastic reduction in customer response times (With great savings in operating and logistics costs).
