Sofia Platform for Movistar

Advanced alarm and device management for Movistar with a personalized and scalable platform.

Large companies have large needs. And manufacturers do not always reach the level of personalization required in certain situations.

The challenge we faced was multiple: To control the alarms of various equipment and remotely manage said alarms, wherever they were, both at the equipment level and the personnel in charge of their maintenance.

At the Hardware level, the versatility of our C300 Concentrator with 3G connection, connected to a BMS, gave us the solution.

In terms of Software, we developed an Ad-hoc Platform with alarm, user and device management, connected to an application (on Android and iOS), in which the alarm can be simultaneously edited, commented on, switched on/off or assigned to an operator.

Subsequently, we have integrated new generator sets into the platform, which, added to the mobile units and chillers already connected in previous years, increasing the versatility of the platform and turning it into a very powerful management tool.

The result has been a significant improvement in the coordination of technical personnel, as well as a drastic reduction in response times, with the consequent savings in operating and logistics costs for Movistar.

We have recently expanded this solution, integrating the Sofia platform into three new chillers through our new C400 concentrator, which incorporates 4G connectivity and Modbus communication with the management modules of said machines, thus reinforcing the scope and efficiency of the implemented system.
